The 20th
annual KidFest, sponsored by Metroplex Health System, will be Sunday,
August 10, 2008 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Killeen Civic and
Conference Center, 3601 South W S Young Drive.



The event will offer more
than $200 worth of free health screenings including vision and hearing checks,
height and weight checks, scoliosis screenings and lung function tests.
Metroplex Dietitians will also offer healthy snacks to children and their
parents.

Activities include:

    Free immunizations (first-come,
first-serve basis)

    A visit from Health E. Bear, the Metroplex Adventist
Hospital mascot

    A visit from the KNCT-TV mascot

    Fire truck and
ambulance tours from the Killeen Fire Department

    A LifeStar Helicopter
will be on display

    Free snacks and drinks
