Located just one hour and 20 minutes from Dallas/Fort Worth, the 1800 acres of open spaces lets you interact with deer, rhinos, giraffes and other wildlife. Drive your own vehicle through the 9 1⁄2 mile tour. You will see long distance views of savannah-like pastures, forested areas and hillsides for the animals to roam.

Fossil Rim Wildlife Center is located 55 miles southwest of Fort Worth and 75 miles southwest of Dallas, near Glen Rose.
From Ft. Worth: Take Hwy 377 out of Benbrook to Granbury. Go through Granbury until you cross the lake, then take the Glen Rose/Highway 144 exit. Go left at the light and proceed on Highway 144 for approximately 15 miles. Turn right on Highway 67 and proceed to the other side of Glen Rose. About 2 miles outside of town turn left on County Road 2008. The entry to Fossil Rim is on your right about one mile down this road.
From Dallas: Go South on I-35E a few miles past downtown Dallas. Take Highway 67 South all the way to Glen Rose. You will go through Midlothian, Venus, Keene and Cleburne. Proceed to the other side of Glen Rose. About 2 miles outside of town turn left on County Road 2008 . The entry to Fossil Rim is on your right about one mile down this road.
