Independence Place opened its doors on October 1st, 2007 and is the first of many similar sister properties located in other military installation towns around the country. Developed and managed by Place Properties out of Atlanta, Georgia, Independence Place Apartments is now the housing of choice in Killeen, Texas near Fort Hood, El Paso, TX near Fort Bliss, Lawton, OK near Fort Sill, Columbus, GA near Fort Benning and Hinesville, GA near Fort Stewart.
